Bird Ringing

Recently I have taken to a new hobby, one which neither involves snakes nor mammals, but rather birds. Bird ringing involves the capture, identification, ringing and release of birds in order to get a better understanding of what makes them tick. My draw to birding is simple, I want to learn more and I want to see more, and what better way is there then capturing angry little birds and letting them bite you for 5 minutes while you clamp a metal ring around their leg.
